Hi, is there a way that a joined participant can be put 'on hold' so that he is no longer receive video/audio? Or he can only be ejected?

    For a custom application, you have two options:
    1. Eject the participant from the meeting
    2. Unsubscribe the participant from all other participants' media.

    Which case you use depends on how important it is that the user receive no media. The first option is secure as it severs the connection from the meeting and others' media. The second option just subscribes, which is a client-side action only.

    For Prebuilt, the only option is to eject a participant from a meeting.
