The leaderboard

The peerConnection leaderboard showcases the all-time top-10 contributors in our community. This leaderboard updates every time the page is loaded. The first time that a community member appears on the leaderboard, they are eligible to receive a gift!

Points

Top contributors are determined by a point system.

As a community member, you earn points by:

• Receiving a positive reaction to your post (1 point)
• Answering another member’s question (5 points)
• Having your answer accepted by the community member who asked the question  (10 points)
• Receiving any of the badges listed below (15 points)

Badges

First Answer (15 points)

• Receive this badge the first time that you post an answer to another community member’s question.

Lifesaver (15 points)

• Earn this badge by providing the accepted answer to five questions asked by others in the forum.

Bellwether (15 points)

• Earn this badge when you receive 5 “agree” reactions on your forum posts.

Inspirer (15 points)

• Earn this badge when you receive 5 "wow" reactions on your forum posts.

Philosopher (15 points)

• Earn this badge when you receive 5  "insightful" reactions on your forum posts.

Humorist (15 points)

• Earn this badge when you receive 5 “LOL” reactions on your forum posts.

Gifts

After you appear on the leaderboard for the first time, a community moderator will send you a private message with information about receiving your gift.  This will typically happen within 10 business days.

• The type of gifts awarded may vary.
