Are you curious about how AI will impact the future of telehealth?

In this video, our own @sventy who is the General Manager of Telehealth at Daily, speaks with Andrew Seagraves from Deepgram about how AI can be used to automatically generate transcriptions and clinical summaries during telehealth consultations.

If you have questions for our AI/telehealth experts, please post them in the comments and we'll follow up with you!

Programming Note: Andrew and @sventy will be back on Tuesday, May 16th at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET to chat more about AI in Telehealth Applications, with a focus on copilots and translation features. RSVP here.

    During the LinkedIn Live an interesting question was asked:

    Fast food ordering user profile is unknown whereas a patient usually has profile e.g., native language , region (which can help identify the language with accent) right?

    @sventy what do you think?

    Yeah I agree.

    I think Andrew mentioned the fastfood ordering case as an example of a situation where transcription is challenging because of the background noise etc. That will probably be less of a problem most of the time in the telehealth case. Although making correct transcription of spoken language with accent remain a challenge, as long as the the speech-to-text model is trained on speakers who don't have an accent.

    We'll also touch more on language in our session on Tuesday. See you there. :)
