When setting a room as private in room settings and enabling the knocking screen, how does the room owner obtain notifications about knocking?

    For a private room with knocking, the meeting owner should get the notifications in the People sidebar (and the ‘ding’ sound too.) There are ways to add more alerting by listening to the waiting-participant-added event if you embed the Prebuilt.
